My recent friendship bracelet projects

Hi everyone! I t's been a while since I've last updated you guys! I have been pretty cramped with work and to compensate for that, this post would be a little longer than most of my updates. Anyway, I've been making some friendship bracelets lately. Some of them are refurbished from my previous friendship bracelet projects. I hope you love them as much as I love making them! ►blue friendship bracelet - I've added some beads on the side and used a simple, circle metals as closure. ► black and white friendship bracelet - to keep it simple, I used only two colors and sleek diamond-shaped closure. I forgot the pattern I used for this one! ► macrame friendship bracelet - I used colorful threads for a tribal feel. I was planning to add beads and/or chains but decided to keep it simple. Should I add them on my the next macrame bracelet like this one? Please let me know. (Suggestions are always welcome! Leave it on the comments section.) Also, I us...

Lavender Infant Headband

Hello, everyone! F ound this lavender headband! I made this for a very cute baby of my friend. I was practicing with my hooks and thought of making something. So why not make a headband!  Every morning, before I go to work, I see my neighbor with her grandchild, strolling. They are so sweet! I miss my grandma everytime I see them. She loves her grandchild so much. It really shows. So I wanted to make something for the baby.  I used a fine Redheart yarn for this project. I chose lavander because I saw the baby wearing a dress close to this color and it really looked good on her! I used 5/0 aluminum crochet hook for this project. So here it is! I hope you like it! Cheers!  🍻 Instagram ► https://www.instagram.com/crochetladymint/  Facebook Page ► https://www.facebook.com/crochetladymint/  Youtube ► https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCrZV35QxJz6nqncVOCi-inQ

I made friendship bracelet with this pattern with my previous friendship bracelets. I just can't get enough of these pattern! It looks really beautiful. I love that fact that this particular pattern is easy to follow. It really simple and beautiful!  I still used Monaco mercerized yarn thread for this friendship bracelet. I still chose to braid the ends because with this, I could easily adjust the fit.  I made several variation from this pattern: Colorful friendship bracelet Blue-green and violet friendship bracelet I hope you like them too! Ems-gurumi

I present to you, Ems-gurumi!  E ms-gurumi, was comissioned by Miss Roxanne. Remember the Snoopy amigurumi ? She loved it so much and now she wanted me to do another amigurumi for her. I was so happy since it's the second crochet project I made for her. It was a gift for her friend - so sweet! Ems is the name of her friend. She is a nurse with a big personality. She always wear bright colored lipstick, mostly red! She has long hair. She loves to tie with a fishtail style. Roxanne wanted this amigurumi to put emphasis on that. So the lips should be big! Also, Roxanne wanted her to carry an oversized syringe!  I used Redheart yarns for this project. The crochet hook that I used was 3/0 aluminum crochet hook. I used fiber fill for the stuffing. The eyes is made with a black yarn.  As you can see Ems-gurumi has a very defined red lips as Miss Roxanne has reuqested. Also she's carrying a very large syringe and a scrub suit - nurse! A fishtail for h...

Doraemon

I miss my hook.. Haven't done a lot of crochet projects lately. For the meantime, I present to you this cute little fella - Doraemon! I've made this during the fourth quarter of last year, as a request by a friend. He heard I was making amigurumies and I showed him some of the amigurumies that I've made and he liked them! So he asked if I can make one for him too. He love Doraemon so he asked me to make Doraemon amigurumi. I used redheart yarn for the main color, the blue yarn. I also used redheart yarn for the white and black yarn. For the red and yellow yarn, I used Monaco yarn. I believe I used 3/0 aluminum crochet hook for this  project. I also added the chains so he can use it as a keychain! The stuffing for that I used was fiber fill. I am so glad he liked it! We took a selfie with him but I don't have the copy of our photo :( Anyway, I hope you like it! Have a nice day, cheers! 🍻 Instagram ► https://www.instagram.com/crochetlad...

Snoopy Amigurumi

T his cute amigurumi was commissioned by Miss Roxanne as a gift for her friend. She wanted to give something special. My friend, who comissioned me to make Rasta-Pats amigurumi , showed her the amigurumi that I made for him. She liked it so much! For that reason, she contacted me and asked if I can make snoopy amigurumi.  Knowing that I would be making amigurumi version of Snoopy, I was really excited!  I used to collect Snoopy items when I was a kid.  I am a fan! So, I agreed immediately. I was really worried at first because I'm a little loaded at work recently, so It would take much longer to finish this amigurumi. I'm glad she was okay with it. She wanted me specifically todo it. I am really flattered that she appriciates my craft! :) For the materials, I used red heart chunky yarns for this amigurumi project. I used 5/0 aluminum crochet hook. For the stuffing, I used fiber fill. Originally, it was supposed to be just as big as Guts  (the on...

Happy Sunday at Barkin' Blends!

It's a happy Sunday for me!   W e've visited a dog café, Barkin' Blends! It's so much fun! The doggos are sooo fluffy! Those dogs are so cute! It's so nice to have a break from time to time!  They offer a cup coffe and 2 hour per person to cuddle with these cuties! We had to remove our shoes because no shoes are allowed in the play area which is really not a big deal for us. They provided us with slippers as we enter.  We can't feed them food, for their protection (of course!) and we can't pick them up. The only food you can bring is your coffee. Aside from that, we are free to play with every dog in there! We're so happy that Smile, the pug, was there too! I've always wanted to see a pug upclose! These furry friends there are so sweet! To name a few, there were Huskies, Labrador, Poodles, Shih Tzu, Dalmatian, Shar Pei and a lot more! We're kind of sad we haven't met the Corgi and the Frenchie! Still, It was all worth it!! We wi...

I was so inspired and finally decided to make one. :3 The cute little pug is Guts from #killLaKill, an awesome anime! I've made this crochet strawberry doughnut amigurumi keychain using the basic stitches. Tip:  I just added the "sprinkles" on top or the strawberry icing usinging a yarn that as a gradiation of colors. With this method, you will only need a skein or yarn!  I believe I used redheart yarns for this strawberry doughnut amigurumi keychain. I used 3/0 aluminum crochet hook for this project.  Instagram ► https://www.instagram.com/crochetladymint/  Facebook Page ► https://www.facebook.com/crochetladymint/  Youtube ► https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCrZV35QxJz6nqncVOCi-inQ

Hello, everyone! T his cute little guy here is Guts from the anime, #KillAKill .  He's so bubbly and a glutton! Can you resist those puppy eyes? :3 I decided to make amigurumi version of him! I like how his toungue sitcks out! Manta actually suggested it! I think it's so cute! oh, those big eyes! (^_^) The were so many trial and errors making this amigurumi, especially the face! In particular, the jowls! It's the first time I've tried this method. I also have to come up with the pattern that would work so I can achieve the right shape. Also, I've never made an amigurumi with a hood before so it is quite a challenge for me.  I'm so glad to finally finish this amigurumi project.  So, what do you guys think of this cutie? Mew and Chibi Totoro

E arly last year, I've made these babies. Yaaaas, Mew and Chibi Totoro! :3  I decided to make a Mew amigurumi because this legendary pokemon is just so cute! Besides, I wanted to try using a wire for the rig of the tail (kind of like a skeleton) so that I can have more control over the pose.  For Mew's eyes, I used a white felt. I asked my partner to draw the eyes for me ( haha ).  Chibi Totoro, however, was requested by a friend of mine. She saw the first Totoro crochet that I've made and she immediately fell in love with it. So, I've decided to make a chibi version of Totoro for her. The pattern was similar to the Tiny White Totoro that I've made. Here's Chibi Totoro's profile view.  Here's the photo of Chibi Totoro that she tagged for me. I'm so glad that she liked it. :3 I hope uou like it too! Cheers! 🍻 Instagram ► https://www.instagram.com/crochetladymint/  Facebook Page ► https://www.fac...
S ince it's <3's month, I tried making Oreo truffles. It's my first time making these. I found a simple tutorial while surfing the net. It was kind of easy, except for the part where I had to cover the chocolate mixture with the melted chocolate. As you can see here,  I still need to practice. Good thing I had Manta to help me. <3 <3 <3 These are no bake Oreo truffles! I am not really good with baking. This is perfect for me! For someone like me who can't bake, this is pretty easy!  The ingredients are easy to find! I plan on making this again! Friendship Bracelets

Hi, everyone! I want to share another ribbon-patterned friendship bracelet variation. The pattern is not quiet visible because, u nlike the previews  ribbon bracelets I've made,  I used different color for each thread for this bracelet. I also used Monaco mercerized friendship bracelet for this friendship bracelet. I braided the both ends.  Usually, for the ribbon pattern, you only need two sets of color.  Here are some of the ribbon-patterned bracelets I've made. http://crochetladymint.blogspot.com/2013/10/ribbon-pattern-blue-green-and-violet.html http://crochetladymint.blogspot.com/2013/10/ribbon-pattern-blue-brown.html Instagram ► https://www.instagram.com/crochetladymint/  Facebook Page ► https://www.facebook.com/crochetladymint/  Youtube ► https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCrZV35QxJz6nqncVOCi-inQ

Zigzag Friendship Bracelet

F irst of all, happy new year! Yay!  I tried making this zigzag pattern friendship bracelet. I got confused after a few loops it's not perfect but I think it's still worth sharing ( haha xD ). Yeah I did not really took a lot of picutre of this because it can see mistakes everywhere! *wink* Someday I would make this friendship bracelet, after I regain my self esteem! Kidding aside, I will try harder next time.  I hope you like it (even if it's not the best! haha ) :) Have a great day, cheers! Shaped Zigzag Bracelet

Hi, everyone! H ere is the zigzag-shaped pattern friendship bracelet! Another friendship bracelet that I've made. I've decided to use cool colors for most of the threads so that the red thread would pop out. I used Monaco mercerized yarn thread to make this friendship bracelet. I also chose to braid the ends for easy adjusting. If you want to use buttons for closure, you should make sure to know the right measurement. If you are a fan of colorful bracelet, this one is definitely for you! So, what do you think? Hope you like it! Cheers! 🍻 P.S. Do you have particular friendship bracelet that you want me to do next? Let me know and I'll see if I can make it! Arrowhead Bracelet

Hello, everyone! T his is an Arrowhead pattern friendship bracelet. I like to use open ends rather than buttons or beads for closure. I love buttons and beads, but with open ends you can easily adjust the tightness of the bracelet. Buttons or beads are advisable to use if you know the actual measurement of the person's  wrist  (who's going to wear the bracelet).  I've learned that after making the Leaves Pattern Bracelet which I'll be posting soon. For the mean time, here's the arrowhead friendship bracelet. It's my first time making this particular pattern. I must say that you should be focused when making this because you might end up redoing your bracelet!  For this friendship bracelet, I also used Monaco mercerized yarn thread. Hope you like it! Ribbon Pattern: Blue-green and Violet

Hi everyone! I 'm still enjoying making friendship bracelets! I chose blue-green and violet color combination for this ribbon pattern friendship bracelet. I have been making friendship bracelets lately and this is one of the first few ones that I've made. I gave this bracelet to a friend. She really liked the color combination of this bracelet. I'm so glad she liked it! Like the other friendship bracelets that I've made, I used Monaco mercerized yarn thread for this friendship bracelet. I chose to just braid both ends for easy adjusting. I hope you like it too! Cheers! 😍 Instagram ► https://www.instagram.com/crochetladymint/  Facebook Page ► https://www.facebook.com/crochetladymint/  Youtube ► https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCrZV35QxJz6nqncVOCi-inQ

Chevron Necklace 2

A nother chevron necklace! Inspired by the previous necklace that I've made, I made this necklace using different way of creating chevron pattern.  You can see my previous chevron necklace here: Chevron Necklace and Bracelet This time I made it thinner and I chose monochromatic colors. I chose coral colors for more feminine vibe, n contrast with my previous necklace.  I  used Monaco mercerized yarn thread for this project. I want this pendant to be dainty so I thought I use thinner thread, but my yarn supply if limited so I used my thinnest yarn available. What do you think? Hope you like it!
