New look of my pink-haired babies!

H ello again! I hope you are having a good day! So, I have introduced to you my pink-haired babies recently and here they are again but with their new look! Yaaaaaas! If you haven't already read my previous post about this, here's the link ==> Pink-haired Blythe Dolls I've talked about it in my previous post that me and my boyfriend actually customized my Blythe dolls. As you may have known already, they are pink-haired dolls. I am probably repeating myself right now, but bear with me guys! (LOL) Anyway,  I customized Wednesday and my boyfriend customized Miyuki. Here are some pictures of their new faces! ^_~                                      This is Wednesday.                This one is Miyuki! Miyuki is bubbly and sweet while Wednesday is rather reserved and is more of a shy-type. Miyuki is very approachable and very frie...

Tutorial : Barbie Crochet Bunny Hat

Hello everyone! I want to share with you today my   Barbie Crochet Bunny Hat It's a tutorial for making a bunny hat for your doll. In this video, I used a Barbie doll as reference for the size of the head. If you want to make a similar hat for a different doll size, you can definitely do so. This particular pattern is easy to follow and can be easily adjusted to fit your doll's head. You can follow with me as you watch.  Here is the video tutorial: If you prefer to watch the video in YouTube, here's is the link to my video: ==>  Barbie Crochet Bunny Hat Instagram ► https://www.instagram.com/crochetladymint/ Facebook Page ► https://www.facebook.com/crochetladymint/ Youtube ► https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCrZV35QxJz6nqncVOCi-inQ

My first unboxing video on YouTube!

How are you doing so far!? I am very excited to share with you my first ever unboxing video on Youtube! Yey! ^_~ I saw post on facebook that this Blythe doll was on sale! I just had to have it! I mean, yes it was sort of rushing a little bit, but it was just too perfect!  Before I saw this little sweetheart, I was really planning to purchase a white-haired Blythe doll and then I saw the post! I told my boyfriend about it and I thought he was going to stop me, like he usually does whenever I am "rush buying" (is this even the term for it?), but he didn't!  All the more perfect! Hah! XD He thinks it was a good deal too since I will be buying something similar to this one anyway! So yey for that! Not that I need his permission, but because I know that I tend to get carried away sometimes so I asked him to stop me whenever he thinks I'm over indulging! LOL XD Oh, and another thing! The seller of this doll is from my country so I didn't have to deal with th...

Pink-haired Blythe Dolls

Hi everyone! I am so excited to share with you (finally!) my pink-haired Blythe dollies!!! They are twins! Yup! ( ◠‿◠ ) So, remember I talked about them briefly on my older post, I miss Amber, my Blythe doll ? Now here they are! Meet Wednesday (on the right) and Miyuki (on the left, wearing mint hat)! Okay, I know this might be a little confusing at first, because they both have pink hair! To help you out, Wednesday's hair has darker shade of pink. Miyuki's hair, on the other hand, has light shade of pink and has very light pink, almost white, highlights. Actually, they are wearing the outfits that I made for my little Amber, but you probably know why she can't wear them yet! It's so cool that they have almost the same body size.  Oh! I forgot to mention that I also bought a posable body to replace Amber's Blythe body. So, they should actually fit Wednesday and Miyuki because their bodies are the same.  So, yeah, i got them from  Aliexpress. H...

Fox hat

Hi guys! I am so excited to share with you this crochet fox hat! I made this a few months ago. As you can see I am really trying to keep up with my Instagram and Facebook Page post here. I want to make this right this time that whatever I post here is not just some project that I made months or few months ago. I apologize for that. >_< Again, this crochet foxhat is for Minette, my Moxie Girl doll. I really want to make crochet animal hat for Amber too, but as you may have read from my previous post, "I miss Amber, my Blythe doll" it's not possible yet. Anyway, Minette does not have that many hats so I think it is fine. I'm really not good at coming up with a decision so I looked again in my yarn stash and I found this cute shade of orange! I want to make something with this yarn color! So i thought of animals with this color and immediately, it has to be a fox! Yaaas! I already have some leftover white and black yarns too! Great! I used redheart yarns...

I miss Amber, my Blythe doll!

Hello guys! A s you can see in the title, I really miss my lovely Amber ! I have not seen her for almost four months! The thing is that I was really fond of this cute blythe face that I saw on Instagram. Luckily, I have a friend who knows someone who cutomizes dolls! How cool was that! So I immediately contacted her and we made our deal - Great!  We had our transaction last week of March, b ut then, until today (July ) apparently, she still have not finished it yet. I personally handed my precious Amber to her. By the way, I only had my Blythe doll with me for less than a week because I ordered her online and had to wait for about 2 weeks for her to arrive in our country. So you know the feels, right!? She promised that it would only take her about two weeks, the most is three(?) weeks (I am not so sure), but one this is for sure - that it won't take her a whole month to make it. As a crafter my self (I am by no means a Pro, for that matter), I understand that it would reall...

Frog hat for Minette

Hello everyone! F or those of you who follow me on Instagram, you may have seen this already. Anyway, here is the crochet frog hat!  I have been wanting to make animal hats because they are just so adorable! I really can't decide what to do first. I thought why not make something out of my leftover yarns! So, I dug through my yarns stash and found this really cute shade of green yarn. I thought of animals with green color and the first idea that came into my mind is a frog! And the shade of the green yarn is just perfect! Don't you think? Here are some pictures!     As you can see the arms are quite longer than normal froggy arms. I made it like so because I thought it is just so cute that way. I am really tempted to make it longer but I am happy with this length. I thought that it would be nice if the flappy arm could be wrapped around the doll's neck, perfect for winter look! Too bad we don't have snow in our country. The flaps or arms have little frogg...

Amber Update! My Blythe doll

Amber Update! S o, as promised, here are some pictures of my little Blythe doll sweetheart, Amber! Yaaay! I was really excited when I got her. We actually went to pick her up on our way to the office that morning. When I got home, I immediately played with her and took some pictures. As you can see with my last post,  Blythe doll, Amber .  After playing with her, I started sketching the first outfit I would make for her. Unfortunately, I can't seem to find where my sketch is after making the dress! (Typical me >_< ) I will update you if ever I find it.   I decided to make a white doll dress with white high-waist short underneath. The front of the skirt is shorter and the back is longer, but not too long. I used a portable sewing machine on the upper part of the dress. The sleeves and the skirt are hand-sewn because I am not really good with handling the sewing machine. I find it hard to use especially with the round shapes. I ac...
