Shaped Zigzag Bracelet

Hi, everyone! H ere is the zigzag-shaped pattern friendship bracelet! Another friendship bracelet that I've made. I've decided to use cool colors for most of the threads so that the red thread would pop out. I used Monaco mercerized yarn thread to make this friendship bracelet. I also chose to braid the ends for easy adjusting. If you want to use buttons for closure, you should make sure to know the right measurement. If you are a fan of colorful bracelet, this one is definitely for you! So, what do you think? Hope you like it! Cheers! 🍻 P.S. Do you have particular friendship bracelet that you want me to do next? Let me know and I'll see if I can make it! Arrowhead Bracelet

Hello, everyone! T his is an Arrowhead pattern friendship bracelet. I like to use open ends rather than buttons or beads for closure. I love buttons and beads, but with open ends you can easily adjust the tightness of the bracelet. Buttons or beads are advisable to use if you know the actual measurement of the person's  wrist  (who's going to wear the bracelet).  I've learned that after making the Leaves Pattern Bracelet which I'll be posting soon. For the mean time, here's the arrowhead friendship bracelet. It's my first time making this particular pattern. I must say that you should be focused when making this because you might end up redoing your bracelet!  For this friendship bracelet, I also used Monaco mercerized yarn thread. Hope you like it! Ribbon Pattern: Blue-green and Violet

Hi everyone! I 'm still enjoying making friendship bracelets! I chose blue-green and violet color combination for this ribbon pattern friendship bracelet. I have been making friendship bracelets lately and this is one of the first few ones that I've made. I gave this bracelet to a friend. She really liked the color combination of this bracelet. I'm so glad she liked it! Like the other friendship bracelets that I've made, I used Monaco mercerized yarn thread for this friendship bracelet. I chose to just braid both ends for easy adjusting. I hope you like it too! Cheers! 😍 Instagram ► https://www.instagram.com/crochetladymint/  Facebook Page ► https://www.facebook.com/crochetladymint/  Youtube ► https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCrZV35QxJz6nqncVOCi-inQ

Chevron Necklace 2

A nother chevron necklace! Inspired by the previous necklace that I've made, I made this necklace using different way of creating chevron pattern.  You can see my previous chevron necklace here: Chevron Necklace and Bracelet This time I made it thinner and I chose monochromatic colors. I chose coral colors for more feminine vibe, n contrast with my previous necklace.  I  used Monaco mercerized yarn thread for this project. I want this pendant to be dainty so I thought I use thinner thread, but my yarn supply if limited so I used my thinnest yarn available. What do you think? Hope you like it! Chevron Necklace and Bracelet

Hi!  I want to share this crochet chevron necklace I've made! Also, my first friendship bracelet!  I've always wanted to try and make accessories!  I've always wanted to make friendship bracelets but I was intimidated by their pattern. I finally had the courage to try and make one! I mean, I already have the materials so why not try, right!?  I was inspired with the beautiful accessories that I saw while I was browsing through the net. So I thought I would make one. And so here's the chevron necklace and this friendship bracelet, also in chevron pattern.  By the way, I used Monaco yarn thread for the crochet necklace and for the friendship bracelet.  I wanted to use vibrant colors for this necklace. So I chose these colors - Aqua, Red and Light Brown. I used blue button for ending  this friendship bracelet . As you can see I also used different colors of yarn. No particular color scheme used.  Hope you li...

Pug Cupcake Amigurumi

A pug cupcake amigurumi that I've made yesterday for Manta.  He loves pugs so much!  Since his birthday is coming soon, I thought of making something for him. I'm glad he likes it! I am really picky with the color of the yarn I use for my amigurumi. I ran out of color the 4ply bulky yarn for the skin so I had to use the thinner yarn type! I spent the whole day crocheting just the head! Gosh! I was not prepared for that! It's my first time crocheting this type of yarn. After the head, everything was easier. For the eyes, I used wiggly eyes!! I think it's perfect because pugs have goofy eyes!  The cupcake part, I used 4ply  Monaco yarn. I tried the basic Tunisian  stitch for the cupcake wrapper. I've made it! Ye-hey! It was really intimidating for me beacause the way you make tunisian is different from usual crochet. You can look it up! There are free video tutorials fo free!!! I used googly eyes for this mini amigurumi. I just glued it on ...

Blue Bag and Red Beanie

I made this blue bag yesterday. Mom gave me some of the yarn she wasn't using and one unfinished project. It was a half circle; could be a cozy for a jar or something. I thought it would make a pretty bag for Minette! I love the color of it. I like this shade of blue! I have added small silver chains for the details and crochet chains of blue yarn for the strap. The red beanie she's wearing was my project a few months ago. I was practicing with the pineapple pattern that I found in the internet. But unfortunately, I was not able to save the source of this pattern. I love how lacey it looks! And I'm so glad I used plain red yarn for this beanie!  I believe the crochet bag was made with Monaco mercerized yarn thread because one of the yarns that my mom gave me had a very similar color (that's why I was able to add the strap! HahahxD ) for the red beanie, I used red Monaco mercerized yarn thread.  I hope you like it!  Have a nice day, cheers! 🍻 ...

White Dress

Hi everyone!  I want to share this white dress that I made for Minette the other day! I'm practicing sewing lately. I still don't have sewing machine so I had to sew this by hand.  I'm not very familiar with the types of fabrics and I don't know what fabric is this either (I'm so sorry!) what I can show you is my concept! I made the plain white dress with a detachable sleeves. It can be worn with or without the sleeves. The length is a little above the knee.   Here's the back view of the dress with the little brown ribbon detail. I added the brown ribbon line to keep the sleeves from falling and for additional detail. :) As you can see, I made the sleeves removable. Basically this dress has three looks! It ca be worn without the sleeves as shown in the picture below. And,the sleeves can also be worn like an elegant arm warmer. Okay now. I got carried away taking pictures and got these cute little ladies beside Minette. On the left is Konata ...

Minette Photo Update

H ere are some of the pictures that I took this afternoon. I thought that it's a good weather outside and it would make a good lighting for the pictures. Also, I found this cute ring that  I  bought a few months ago. I thought  of  using it as a cuff bracelet for this outfit. Suits her well! Ye-pee! (^^)~~ Here are some photos featuring the black denim pants that I made, the pink crochet blouse and the green bonnet! I just wish I was able to pose her body more! It was kind of limiting to have this body type for photography. Nevertheless, it was really a fun photo shoot! If you have any tips, suggestion, please leave them in the comments! I hope you like them too! B lush on bag for my sister. She had this blush on but she misplaced the cover so I thought of making a mini bag for her. I know she didn't think I would really do it but her it is! I chose yellow for the main color because it's her favorite! I also used pink and light yellow to add more color to this bag. I hope she likes it. :) Free patterns for the flower! st - stitch ch - chain dc - double crochet tc - treble crochet sp - space inc - increase () - you crochet in the same space FO - fasten off I made the flowers in continuous rounds. Totoro and Totoro! ^^

W eee! ^^ I found this picture that I took a few months ago while I was browsing through my files. It's Totoro and Totoro! On the left side is actually a fluffy bag that I purchased and on the right is a crochet Totoro that I made. This made me smile.  Here is the link to my Totoro amigurumi : I really want to make crochet Totoro for my self, but I barely have time! For now, I'll just cherish this photo and wish! Haha Have a nice day! Pink Blouse and Denim Pants!

Y e-hey! I finally made denim pants for Minette and a pink blouse! I really enjoyed making the pants a lot. It brought back memories from my childhood. You see, my sister and I used to dress up our dolls. I would make dresses and she would "buy" it from my "shop". Ahhh..  I made the pants from my old jeans. I didn't have a sewing machine yet so I tried to sew this by hand! I'm also not good with sewing (haha) but I really enjoy it! I want to make a loooot of doll dresses and costumes! Just thinking about it makes me giggle!   I used pink Monaco mercerized yarn thread to crochet this blouse. I like how it turned out! I had to stop from time to time to checck if the blouse is a perfect fit for her. Anyways, I hope you like it! :) Instagram ► https://www.instagram.com/crochetladymint/  Facebook Page ► https://www.facebook.com/crochetladymint/  Youtube ► https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCrZV35QxJz6nqncVOCi-inQ ...

Rasta-Pats Amigurumi

This amigurumi doll was comissioned by a friend. He wanted to have his own "mini-me", so he sketched this character design himself. :) I used redheart yarn for the skin color, red and yellow yarn. Monaco yarn for the black, white, green and dark brown. The green, yellow and red yarn for the headband, black yarn for the sunglasses, hair and the shirt. The cigarette was made with white yarn for the main color, a little bit of black and red yarn for the bunt area.  I used 3/0 aluminum crochet hook for this project. The stuffing that I used for was fiber fill. I enjoyed making this amigurumi doll because it was refreshing to make male doll for a change! I mean, I made Ebi amigurumi but it looked almost genderless.  I'm so glad that my friend, Pats, really loved him!   Hope you like him! Bonnet for Minette

Bonnet for Minette! A quick crochet bonnet for Minette. I decided to use green yarn for this bonnet. I have wanted to make a doll bonnet with this color! I   wanted this to be lacy.  I was too carried away that I forgot to write the pattern!  I don't know what this yarn is because it was given to me by my mom. It was from her stack of yarns. This yarn is slightly thinner and lighter than mercerized yarn thread.   Hope you like it! Cheers! 🍻 Instagram ► https://www.instagram.com/crochetladymint/  Facebook Page ► https://www.facebook.com/crochetladymint/  Youtube ► https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCrZV35QxJz6nqncVOCi-inQ

Blue Accessory Crochet Balls

T hese accessory crochet balls are commissioned by my sister's friend. She loves making handmade accessories and other crafts. She asked me to make some for her and she wanted it blue, so it is! I'm so glad she liked it! :) I used Mercerized yarh thread for this crochet balls. Instead of fiber fill, I used wooden round beads. The hook I used is 5 steel crochet hook. It was fun making these balls!  Cheers! 🍻 This her finished project! It's so cute! I love the combination of colors she used for this necklace! So pretty!  Instagram ► https://www.instagram.com/crochetladymint/  Facebook Page ► https://www.facebook.com/crochetladymint/  Youtube ► https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCrZV35QxJz6nqncVOCi-inQ

Blue Cellphone Bag

T his blue cellphone bag was comissioned by a friend.  He specifically asked for these colors. I used seed stitch for this bag.  I used Monaco yarn for the purple and Redheart yarn for the dark blue yarn. And a black round buttong for closure.  I was so excited to make this pouch beacause I have not done bag crochet project for a while. This bag is pretty simple. He wanted it to be simple. :) I hope you like it! Cheers!! 🍻 Instagram ► https://www.instagram.com/crochetladymint/  Facebook Page ► https://www.facebook.com/crochetladymint/  Youtube ► https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCrZV35QxJz6nqncVOCi-inQ

PIWI Amigurumi

I named this doll PIWI simply because this is commissioned to me by a friend and her nickname is Piwi. The spelling changed sometimes. At times she use Peewee, sometimes Piwi or Peews, etc. I guess she doesn't really mind the spelling that much.  Anyway, she sketched the character design herself. She has this backpack that matches the color of her shirt. I liked the idea of her PIWI having this backpack! And so, as you can see, she can add or remove the backpack. I think she would appreciate it if she can wear the bag or not. It really depends on her. I used redheart yarn for this project - brown, pink, black and white yarns. I also used Monaco black mercerized yarn for the detail on her shirt. The stuffing I used was fiber fill. I was nervous to give it to her because it's actually the first detailed amigurumi that was requested to me. I made Marceline and Finn amigurumi but they don't have as much detail as this one. It was quiet challenging for me because I...
